Is it all about the votes?

I have been working really hard tiring to get enough votes to be enter in the pin up contest. I have been to local businesses, asked people to endorse me and even passed out 300 fliers. I have found out something very valuable about myself. I will not let not being in the contest bring me down. My supporters reassure me that it's not over till it's over and I believe they are telling me the truth. I will not give up my dream no matter how the situation appears! Believing in yourself is the key to victory...

I noticed that I had very few votes for The Miss Viva Las Vegas Pin Up Contest so I went out in my local community and got some votes... It was really fun walking around talking to people and handing out fliers... I was my own campaign manager... If you want something I encourage you to go out and get it! Even if I don't make it to the contest at least I tried and not let fear stand in my way of something that I want to do! Proud moment!

Today is the day!

Ok so excited today is the day that public voting starts for the Miss Viva Las Vegas Pin Up contest! I have asked people at work and now I am going to go out and about in the community to campaign for votes!

How to vote: 1. Go to this website: http://www.vivalasvegas.net/pin-up-contest Scroll down until you see my picture and name “Sinthia Sterling”- feel free to read my bio! 2. Click VOTE and you will prompted to enter your email and type two words. These are for security measures so all the beautiful contestants have a fair chance. 3. In order for your vote to count according to VLV rules you must go to your email and confirm your vote. **If you did not receive an email from VLV don’t forget to check your junk mail. 4. Voting starts January 5th and ends January 31st. Why I want to be in this year’s Miss Viva Las Vegas Pin Up Pageant… I was once a person that hated herself and let the world pass her by. But now, I got out of my comfort zone and lost 70lbs, learned how to love myself so that I could love others more and vow to be the change that I want to see in the world. I want to positively affect people’s lives by being friendly, kind and compassionate to others. I ultimately want to be a positive female role model for other women to show them no matter what their age, race, size or title they can be anything they want to be in life. Being a part of this pageant will give me a chance to show the rockabilly world that true positive change can come from within with hard work and a great support system. Happy New Year to one and all. May life be everything you want it to be in 2015. I am starting my goal of getting out of my comfort zone and I am going to try to rally support and votes for the Miss Viva Las Vegas Pin up pageant. Thankfulness

I am very thankful gous my little life. It might not be fancy or glamorous but it is mine. I have a lot to be thankful for these days. Everyone should take a moment or two to reflect... To think about how truly good we have it. I used to be a very different person than I am now and I am thankful for the journey... Because it made me the person I am today. I may not have all the answers but there is one thing that I know. I know that you should live your life how YOU want it to be lived. Be the author of your own life and write it how you want it to be read!

I'm starting this blog to explore my inner world.I wish to impart some real insight into How I see the world around me.
